We write to you with a profound sense of faith, purpose and hope, seeking once more, your gracious partnership in the building mission unfolding at the National Pilgrimage Centre – National Shrine of Our Mother of Perpetual Help, Maryville, Enugu. This shrine has long stood as a spiritual refuge, a fountain of healing and a beacon of Marian devotion in Nigeria and beyond.
We are still undertaking a transformative project: the construction and refurbishment of the Holy Altar, Sanctuary Extension, Grotto Grounds, Candle Wall and a Tabernacle with the Stand—a complete renewal of the dwelling place of Our Lady and Her Divine Son in the heart of the faithful.
This holy endeavor is not just a construction effort but an act of love. A gift to the generations to come.
Why We Need Your Help?
After careful assessment and expert evaluation/re-evaluation, the total cost of the project stands at the moment, at ₦15,697,000. These include:
– Sanctuary Extension (₦3,360,000)
– Mama’s Grotto Floor (₦3,054,000)
– Candle Wall (₦1,670,000)
– Sanctuary Curves (₦2,413,000)
– Marble Communion Rails and Tabernacle Stand (₦2,200,000)
– Tabernacle 2,300,000
Other essential tiling, sand, cement, and labor logistics.
Each stone laid will carry the prayers of the faithful.
Each tile placed will resound with songs of adoration.
Every offering, large or small, will be a seed sown into eternity.
